Who is “Puss in Boots”?

We’ve all heard about the infamous fairytale character “Puss in Boots”, but what do we really know him other than the fact that he’s a cat with a special pair of boots? Hmm…

 

Well Dreamworks Studios has decided to explore the world of imagination by putting their twist on this story. The project, directed by Shrek the Third’s Chris Miller, chronicles the early career of the mischievous Puss, who debuted with 2004’s Shrek 2.

 

While Shrek may be living happily ever after with Princess Fiona, Donkey, and friends… the adventure is just beginning for Puss in Boots (voiced by Antonio Banderas) who teams up with Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and the tough, smart Kitty (Salma Hayek) to steal the goose with the golden eggs.

 

The 3D roguish adventure of “Puss in Boots” will be an animated feature film and is slated for release on November 4, 2011
