It’s been a minute since we’ve seen Wesley Snipes play a character that we can actually respect. While the “Blade” trilogy was cool, it caters to a totally different type of audience. Snipes doesn’t always have to get all Kung Fu on somebody’s ass to make a point. Back in the day he was best known for his hard core drug dealing character in “New Jack City”.

Well the fallen “A” lister is back for an even better drug related King Pin role in “Brooklyn’s Finest”. I know how much my real movie going fans love when a film is filled with a bunch of big named stars, and this one should certainly satisfy your crave. “Brooklyn’s Finest” also stars Don Cheadle, Richard Gere, Michael K. Williams, Ethan Hawke, Jesse Williams, Ellen Barkin, Lili Taylor, Brian F. O’Byrne, Will Patton, and Vincent D’Onofrio.

NOW, you already know that if Don Cheadle is in it…this movie is going to be good!! “Brooklyn’s Finest” is directed by Antoine Fuqua, and it looks like he put his foot, elbow, and every other seasoning he could possibly find. I’m hoping that it’s even better than “Training Day” and “The Departed”. “Brooklyn’s Finest” hits theaters in 2010.
